CBCT(Cone Beam Computed Tomography)is a medical imaging technique widely applied in treatment planning and diagnosis in dentistry. After years of being in use, CBCT scanners have become increasingly important in the field of oral surgery, with advantages of relatively high precision and low radiation dose. This article is a review of clinical applications of CBCT, which seeks to improve dentists’ awareness of the importance and limitation of this technology.
